- Carolina Dirt Farmers LLC is based out of Winston-Salem,NC.Our 3 acre farm is located in Hamptonville,NC in the heart of the Yadkin Valley.Carolina Dirt Farmers is a specialty crop farm focused on bringing gourmet crops & products to the local community, farmers markets, as well as local restaurants.We use organic & sustainable methods for all operations at our farm.We are also proud to say our farm is "OFF THE GRID" at this time,using rain water for irrigation (there are plans to dig a well in the near future) & wind turbines for our small electricity needs.Our 2010 crops include 20 varieties of garlic,garlic scapes(early spring only),grey shallots,sunchokes,fresh herbs,dried herbs,homemade rubs,heirloom tomatoes,sundried tomatoes(true sundried),and wild flower honey. contact us @ 336-577-3381
